Our job is to support families and help them say goodbye to their loved ones during funeral services. We conduct funerals at various funeral halls, primarily in Handa City and Chita City, Aichi Prefecture. Our motto is to make the final farewell a "warm and heartfelt funeral" together with everyone. What challenges did you face before implementation?

Previously, we accepted orders by phone and accepted Credit Card Payment.
It was time-consuming, and since it involved obtaining credit card numbers over the phone, there was a risk of handling personal information.
Furthermore, since only Credit Card Payment were accepted, payment methods were limited.

What led you to adopt SB Payment Service (SBPS) payment terminals?

I received a fax from an industry association, which prompted me to compare and consider other companies' services online, and then I inquired with SBPS about their special plan for the funeral industry.
We decided to implement the system because we appreciated the reassurance of being recommended by an industry association, the low terminal price and fees, its compatibility with various payment brands, and its portability.

What changes have you seen since the implementation?

After the funeral service, we may visit your home at a later date to collect payment for the funeral expenses.
At that time, the ability to carry the payment terminal and issue receipts on the spot made customer service much smoother.
Furthermore, payment via telephone orders is no longer required, eliminating the risk associated with the handling of personal information.

What do you think are the benefits of cashless payments for customers?

Even with the sudden expense of a funeral, customers appreciate the convenience of not having to quickly prepare cash or worry about ATM fees, even on holidays.
We've also received feedback that cashless payment allows customers to pay for any additional expenses without worrying about them.
