On January 31, 2025, the four companies MJ Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City; President and CEO: Masaru Fujita; hereinafter referred to as "MJ"), Tsuji & Hongo IT Consulting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Shimba; hereinafter referred to as "SBPS"), and Atarashii Hoiku Initiative, a social welfare collaboration promotion corporation (Headquarters: Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture; Representative Director: Kotaro Maeda; hereinafter referred to as "Atarashii Hoiku Initiative"), collaborated to expand the adoption of "B-wallet," a solution to promote cashless transactions in the childcare industry.

MJ has partnered with SBPS's payment service to begin offering "B-wallet" in November 2024, and is also pleased to announce that it has been adopted by the first affiliated school, Seiwa Gakuen School Corporation.

Background of the collaboration

In recent years, the childcare industry has been promoting the use of ICT to improve the efficiency of childcare facility operations through subsidies and support from the national and local governments, and the introduction of cashless payments has been attracting attention as part of this effort. In particular, as the number of childcare facilities increases, improving operational efficiency and improving convenience for parents have become important issues. In response to this situation, MJ, Tsuji-Hongo ITC, and SBPS, together with the New Childcare Initiative, a social welfare cooperation promotion organization, will accelerate the shift to cashless payment in the childcare industry by promoting the introduction of "B-wallet" to childcare facilities.

About "B-wallet"

MJ has partnered with SBPS's payment service to provide "B-wallet," a solution to promote cashless payments in the childcare industry, in November 2024. "B-wallet" was developed to create an environment in which childcare facilities do not handle any cash at all. By linking "B-wallet" to their own systems, operators can centralize the matching of billing and payments, notify parents, and automatically remind recipients of outstanding payments, thereby streamlining operations.
This time, it has been adopted by the educational institution, Seiwa Gakuen, which will be the first affiliated store of "B-wallet." The educational institution, Seiwa Gakuen, aims to use "B-wallet" to streamline various collection operations.
