SB Payment Service Corp. will be speaking at "CloudNative Days Tokyo 2023," hosted by the CloudNative Days Committee, in a session titled "Beyond in-house development of payment systems: What was needed to "scale" cloud-native development."

In this session, we will introduce the challenges we faced when scaling the development structure of our payment system and what we did to solve them, how we achieved a cloud-native development experience on-premises, and the architecture and examples for improving efficiency and quality.

What was needed to "scale" cloud-native development

It has been more than five years since SB Payment Service launched its in-house development, and a new development project began two years ago.
As this project is the largest system replacement our company has undertaken, we received cooperation from a development partner and the project was built on-premise rather than in a cloud environment.
In this session, we will talk about the challenges we faced when scaling our development team and what we did to solve them.
We will also introduce how we achieved a cloud-native development experience on-premise, as well as architecture and case studies to improve efficiency and quality.

Speaker Profile

He started out working for a system integrator and gained experience developing web applications using Java. After working as a freelancer, he joined SB Payment Services in 2016.
He is currently involved in developing new services and improving operations for payment systems.
He gave a presentation at CloudNative Days Tokyo 2019 titled "The journey to in-house development of a payment system."
