SB Payment Service Corp. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Jun Shinba; hereinafter "SBPS"), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., will launch a new service called "SBPS Invoice Card Payment" on October 1, 2025, as part of its "B2B Services" which support business operations between companies. This new service allows companies to pay invoices for business transactions with their trading partners using credit cards. "SBPS Invoice Card Payment" can be used even if the trading partner does not support Credit Card Payment, and payment can be completed simply by entering the invoice information and card information.
At launch, the service will support JCB as the international brand, with support for Visa and Mastercard planned for later this year.

Background of the offer

Traditionally, business-to-business transactions have primarily involved bank transfers based on invoices, creating cash flow challenges for both parties. Buyers need to prepare cash and handle the transfer process, while sellers face delays in receiving payment. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular often face cash flow problems due to seasonal factors, temporary shortages of funds, and unexpected payments.
Against this backdrop, SBPS has launched "SBPS Invoice Card Payment" to support small and medium-sized businesses in improving their cash flow and operational efficiency.
